Location and Surroundings:

Harbour Island is a five-minute boat ride from North Eleuthera, whose airport is served by frequent flights from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. Three Bees’ guests are picked up at the airport by the villa’s staff and are at the property less than a half-hour after landing.

Harbour Island is just five miles long and less than one mile wide. There are no stoplights and virtually no cars. The preferred mode of transportation on the Island is golf cart. With charming colonial-era cottages and a Nantucket-like feel, the Island has become a popular retreat for discerning travelers who prefer a lower profile vacation.

Accommodations:

Three Bees is comprised of thirteen ensuite bedrooms. On the ocean side of the compound is eight-bedroom Villa Bee and a two-bedroom Beach Cottage. Just across the narrow island is Bayside, the location of luxury tents with three spacious ensuite bedrooms. The décor throughout is a very simple and comfortable island colonial style, with four-poster beds. There are two children’s rooms right next to the large rec room.

Experience and Activities:

Three Bees is all about the beach and the glorious water, with Pink Sand Beach on one side and the serenely calm bay on the other side of the half-mile-wide island. Many guests spend their days at Bayside, the location of all the water toys: water trampolines, jet skis, windsurfers, motorized kayaks, paddleboards, small sailboats and more. And Bayside has its own tented dining room right on the beach, perfect for lazy lunches and all-day refreshments. When guests want a taste of the Island, they can take any of Three Bees’ all-terrain vehicles or golf carts into Dunmore Town for shopping or an afternoon drink at fashionable Sip Sip.
