Location and Surroundings:

Hacienda Petac is located about 30 minutes from Merida International Airport, which is served by frequent flights from Houston, Miami and Mexico City. The colonial city of Merida is a cultural and architectural treasure. Mayan archeological sites, as well as as the villages and beaches on the northern Gulf Coast of the Yucatan, are less than 90 minutes drive.


The Hacienda’s seven spacious guest rooms are located in four building surrounding the main house. Each has soaring ceilings and beautiful native stone bathrooms, and the decor in the guest rooms (terra cotta, cornflower blue and peach) reflects the tropical surroundings. The absence of televisions in the rooms enhances the Hacienda’s serenity.

Experience and Activities:

While there are more than enough reasons to leave the Hacienda for nearby attractions, the undisturbed natural surroundings of the Hacienda provide a wonderful serenity. There is a lovely swimming pool, and a spa of resort-quality with three treatment rooms, a special room for beauty and nail treatments, and a full gym. Hammocks and resting places are situated in shaded verandahs and in the gardens. And the large, comfortable Family and Game Room has pool, ping pong, and every board game one could imagine.
