Location and Surroundings:

The closest international airport is in Marseilles, which is less than an hour away. Nice and its airport are just slightly further. The Luberon area is one of the loveliest areas of Provence, dotted with countless tiny villages including Gordes, St. Remy, Aix-en-Provence, L’Isle sur la Sorgue, Oppede, Bonnieux and Menerbes. One captivating attraction is the extensive Glanum Roman archeological site.

Accommodations:

The large stone manor house has eight bedrooms, two on the ground floor and six on the second floor. All but two have ensuite bathrooms, and those bathrooms are spacious with state-of-the-art amenities. The two suites on the first floor are especially large and have private entrances. Inside and outside gathering areas are expansive and comfortable. The large living room overlooks the countryside through floor-to-ceiling glass doors and the covered terrace, pool and poolside lawns have those same breathtaking views.

Very simply, the comfort of the house and the views it commands are as appealing as the local area attractions. Provence in general, and the Luberon more specifically, are probably the most charming parts of the French countryside.
