The Borgo has 22 guest suites in all, of which nine are in the main house. In addition, there are four private houses, each with kitchens and dining areas; two of those houses have two bedrooms each, one has four bedrooms, and the largest has five bedrooms. All of these luxury accommodations have the finest bed linens (Mascagni) and bathroom linens (Ugolini) and all beds are the incomparable Temper-pedic. Bathrooms are large, have double sinks, towel-warming racks, steam showers and Jacuzzi baths. From each bedroom there are wonderful views of the countryside through charming shuttered windows.
Experience and Activities:
The Borgo has resort-level recreational amenities, which is unique in European countryside inns and villas. There is a large oval-shaped swimming pool, an incredibly well-equipped exercise room, a spa with large Jacuzzi and cooling-off pool, steam and dry heat rooms, a tennis court that converts to a half-basketball court, a bocce court, a lovely walking path around the property, and mountain bikes for rides to nearby villages. Siena, with its medieval cathedrals, art galleries and Piazza del Campo, is just 30 minutes away.
